What's next:
This page is for whatever is coming up next on the Witching calander. This isn't nearly al of the information that you can get off of a calander. I suggest you buy the Llewellen's Witch calander. You can find them at some places, and not others. I got mine from a cart in Southridge Mall.

The Mabon Ritual.
I'm not going to put an entire ritual in this space, but a sampling of one. If you like what you see, E-mail me for the entire thing. I also have ones for solitaries too! All of the information I have on rituals and Sabbat activities, I got from the book The Sabbads by Edain McCoy.
MABON
Roles: High Priestess, High Priest, God of Wine, Harvest Queen, and Harvest King
Tools: A deep chalice or glass of wine or juice (apple juice a good substitute), and an apple for each person present. You will also need 2 grapevine wreaths to crown the Harvest King and Queen.
Note: You may want to open the circle the irish way (e-mail me for details)
Acting High Priest/ess: Welcome Friends.
Covenors: Welcome.
Acting High Priestess: The Wheel of the Year turns on and on, bringing us to and from each season, and from and to another. What will be is. What was will be. All time is here and now inside this sacred space......
Other than the tools and roles, this is basically how all of the rituals start. If you choose to use these rituals, feel free to change anything to make it more comfortable for you.

Mabon Prayer
This is a prayer that I got out of the book, The Sabbats. If you would like your Sabbat poem or prayer Submitted here (or any Witchie poem or prayer somewhere else), email it to me.
Bountiful Mother Earth, whos dark
womb has brought forth this munificence
we see before us, we humbly thank you
for your gift of sustenance which
nourishes our bodies and minds.
Lord of the Harvest, wise and giving,
we praise your generosity in providing
this feast which gives us strength and endurance.
Lord and Lady, our blessings this year
have been many. We thank you for...
(Enumerate blessings here, whatever you wish to offer thanks for. Or, if you are in a group, allow everyone to speak in turn offering personal prayers.)
...And for all those blessings and gifs
which it the hustle and bustle of daily
living we have overlooked and taken for
granted, we most gratefully thank you now.
Blessed Lord and Lady, mighty and
powerful, tender and charitable, forever
may your praises be sung by your adoring
and thankful children.
So mote it be
